5 temporary mayors in east java province rejected to receive their salary. For 140 days in placement of mayors of the districts, they opt not to receive their salary which is supposed to be their rights based on their consideration.
All these mayors supposed to receive 6.5 billions rupiahs but these amounts of money returning to the district cash.
One of them surabaya temporary mayor, explained that his decision is inherent to some consideration like legal certainty for instance. Since he's still chief of certain institution in which he still receive the wage from the billet, thus wage from being temporary mayor he opts to return to district cash.
These acts of 5 mayors are worth of salutation for their transparancy that will be extraordinary precedence for all. In the midst of inevasive corruption within the country, it's really ardous to find such figures like them. They are just incredible.
