PANASONIC AND TOSHIBA CLOSED FACTORIES IN INDONESIA DUE TO RAILWAY PROJECT PNGToshiba and panasonic released bad news of withdrawing from investment in Indonesia.These two large companies are 
constrained in the speculation of leaving indonesia which is basically the leading potential market for their business. 


The rumor about the decision of these companies are closely tied to the decision of Indonesia who opted china instead of japan in railway project partnership from jakarta to bandung. 



Secretary of the state, pramono anung skim the speculation of factories closure. Pramono affirmed that he has already discussed with the management of the two companies. The issue of disclosure is not true, the factories simply relocated to Bogor area and termination are to the workes who rejected to be placed in the new area, he added. 



Responding to this, Rahmat gobel, president of commissioner of panasonic gobel group emphasized the restructuring of the factories due to high competition in Indonesia. Panasonic decided to close factory in Cikarang and merging to another local unit. While toshiba decided to sell its televison and twin tube washing machine to china's skyworth group also based in cikarang.  



On the other hand, the palace state assured the conducive bilateral with japan, skimming disharmony issue between the countries especially concerning the impact of indonesia policy not to choose japan for railway project. 



Secretary of the state, exclaimed that japan itself shared another project of energy which is in similar scale with railway project in indonesia.
