A toothpaste is normally used for making the teeth clean. But beside this primary use, a toothpaste in fact has other uses, unexpected that you have to know.
1. Removing scuffs from leather shoes
You often might frustrated of having scuffs on leather shoes. Moreover, it's really hard to remove it even using cleansing powder or chemical not capable to make shoes shinny and clean. Now, a little toothpaste put on a toothbrush is capable to make scuff removed and thus shoes become clean.
You can squirt a dab on scuffed area and wipe it with soft damp cotton. It will make the shoes clean like new
2. Clearing up the pimple
Pimples are serious problem especially for teenagers. Having pimples on face is not good to see and even facial soap like ponds are not quite effective to make the face clean of pimples.
Dab a bit of non gel and non whitening toothpaste on the area of pimples and should keep it until morning to clean or splashed by water. Tear gas is often used by police to drive out demo. It's advised for the demonstrans to use the dab of tootpaste rubbing on the top and bottom area of eyes, not on the eyes. This toothpaste will resist the tear gas, thus it won't be a problem especially if you are a student engaging in a demo with you friends.
4. Clean up smell from hands
Smell on hands often a problem faced by house wives. After making ingredients in the kitchen usually will leave the stinky smells or ingredients smell that won't fade after clean by soap. A dab of tooth paste rubbing on hands than clean with water will clean the smell from hands.
5. Removing auto scratches
Basically scratch remover can be bought to overcome this problem. But expensive scratch remover can be alternately changed by the use of dab toothpaste on the scratch area. Just put a dab and polish it gently and never too hard or other wise it will ruin the painting. This will only applicable for minor scratch by using of damp soft clothes. It will remove the scratch right away.
6. Removing stains or ink on clothes
Stains especially inks on clothes are really difficult to be cleaned by powder cleaners. No matter how many times manually or watching machine won't work to clear the stains or residue of ink on clothes. A dab of toothpaste manually put and rub on clothes will clean it and popping with water finally. This will regain again the color of clothes and no stains or ink residue left on clothes. Toothpaste also is applicable to remove stains from carpet.
7. Cleaning baby clothes
Sour milk residue on baby clothes is hard to be cleaned. It can be managed by the use of toothpaste put on the area stained and it will remove the stain and bad smell from baby clothes.
8. Cleaning fogging on the mirror
Mirror especially that are placed in bathroom always get fogged and unclear upon using them. When you get in to bathroom and find to look on mirror as usual thing you might do but being barred by flogging on mirror. You can coat mirror with toothpaste and leave it, it will drive away the fogging and mirror will return to be clean again.
9. Cleaning crayon on the wall
This is major a problem of having kids at home. They are so creative of vandalizing using crayon on the wall making lines or image that are so funny. But you should not worry how to clean them. Just taking brush and put the paste on it then starting scrubbing. Rinse with water right after and the crayon on the wall will be removed instantly.
10. Cleaning the bottom side of iron
Our iron appliance at home always has the spots of burning clothes and really difficult to remove it right away. Bu putting the dab of paste on its bottom and polishing it using damp clothes, the stain or burning clothes on iron's bottom will be easily removed.
