Jokowi has made the calculation of adverse effect of the traffic congestion in metropolitan city jakarta and other big cities like bandung, surabaya . According to this indonesian president, the country has to loose 35 trillion each year because of traffic congestion.
Regarding to this, government resolves to make new approach to fasten and overcome the problem that is always the main issue of the country. The volume of private transportation and unprepared public transportation is assumed to be the big hindrance to lessen the traffic problem in the city like jakarta or bandung.
Jokowi said, he won't let this major problem remaining no solution. As to make the approach, president will establish massive streamliners in jakarta and mass rapid transport that are connected to the access of airport. In other occasion jokowi also subtly criticize ahok to provide MRT while the neighbor region of jakarta are already in progress.
Jakarta as the center of the country is always the main focus and president nevertheless seeks to help governor to provide program solving the problem of traffic congestion.
Jokowi doesn't want to loose such big amount of money on account of traffic cliche problem.
