KENNY CRIDGE,THE OLDES DOWN SYNDROME PATIENT OF THE WORLD

His name is kenny cridge, the oldest man afflicted with down syndrome of the world. Kenny is 76 years old, he lived in a nursing home in england. 

Kenny was born in 1940. He has twin sister. When kenny was born, he was taught to be dead because of not life hint observed thus the doctor concerned more to save his twin sister.

Down syndrome (DS or DNS), also known as trisomy 21, is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21.^[1] It is typically associated with physical growth delays, characteristic facial features, and mild to moderate intellectual disability.

Usually the patient of own syndrome will survive up to 14 years old but kenny is the exception as he is nominated as the oldest and longest survived down syndrome person. During that time, the syndrome down afflicted were not well treated unlike now that special treatment is given to the afflicted.

Kenny survived because of the dedication of his family who devoted more time for him. Now kenny is under the care of nursing house. Though he is not good in verbal communication, he has the sense of humor and actively relate with others well.
