BJB postulated its readiness to accommodate the repatriated fund of tax amnesty. After being appointed as one of 18 perception bank by the government. BJB becomes the first regional development bank appointed to resettle tax amnesty fund.
BJB fulfilled the criteria of trusty and customer bank account as the prerequisite to collect the repatriated fund. Futher more, BJB's director ahmad irfan acknowledge the healthy finance of BJB lays as the reason of government's decision to get it included. Irfan said " we are ready to support tax amnesty and we are competent to vie for it".
BJB claims that the bank is the commercial bank business group which has the network and service throughout indonesia. Irfan ahmad guessed, this is also the reason of its appointment as container for tax amnesty repatriated fund. Beside, BJB has the interesting investment instrument to comply the needs of tax amnesty participants.
BJB continues to show good performance this years. By the end of may 2016, BJB managed to record the net profit of 57.7%
In relating to absorption of tax amnesty fund, BJB director stated that the bank is committed to adjust with government target. The bank continues to work on it through further analysis and study.
Take into note, among the banks which fulfill the requirements to accommodate tax amnesty fund, out of 18 which are ready, BJB is the only first regional development bank.
