Government Urges Tax Amnesty Participants to Invest on Horticulture SectorGovernment continues to give socialization of tax amnesty program to the participants. Through the minister of stated owned enterprise, rini soemarno government introduces the opportunity of horticulture investment in west java as the alternative. 
After the release of finance minister regulation no. 122/2016, the investor of both tax payer or businessman are given the discretion to invest their repatriated money. 

Rini soemarno described the possibility to embroil in horticulture investment in west java through join  venture scheme of which the investor has the chance to have 80% shares. So, we set up the mechanism of investment for participants tax amnesty in small amounts to invest in horticulture with a land of 100 hectares, 500 hectares, 1,000 hectares, "Rini said in front of taxpayers and employers in West Java and Banten during Socialization Amnesty Tax in Bandung, Monday (8 / 8).
Further rini clarified that goverment has the 3 trillion rupiah project in horticulture such fruits and vegetables and the estimated investment around 299 billion rupiahs. 

So far, the investor has less interest to get involved in horticulture business since the government has not provided conducive regulation. Thus the investment in horticulture is considered not interesting and less profit gained. 
Chairman of Vegetables and Fruits Exporters Association of Indonesia (AESBI) Jhony Hasan  looked the importance of investment flow to focus on upstream in order to improve the quality like fruits and vegetable. Moreover the stagnate export of fruits last year triggering the effort to focus more on horticulture. 

Since the release of tax amnesty program, the investors have basically overviewed the opportunity of horticulture business. Some investors have communicated about the possibility of investment on such sector through field investigation. 
Head of Investment and Integrated Licensing (BPMPT) Jabar Dadang Masoem 
said, after rolling a tax amnesty, some foreign investors have started to open up communication seek new investment opportunities, including an investment in the agro sector, horticulture, tolls to the port.

"Has anybody started to ask questions, make the same abattoir agro processing means it has no response when the money back here will be used mem afford anything," he said.
