Tanimban port becomes the national stategic project

The governmnet through Through the Regional Infrastructure Development Board (BPIW) Ministry of Public Wor

ks and Housing (PUPR) plans to set the patimban port becoming the national strategic

project. 

On this project of which ministry of transportation as leading sector has to consider the capacity and 

resources to support suitable with international standards of port. International port development plan needs to be created by the integration of development of infrastructure, so as to increase the competitiveness of the port.

Patimban International Port will be connected with areas consisting of industrial zones, economic zones, urban areas, rural areas in the vicinity.

Besides, the Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Ministry PUPR Hery Trisaputra Zuna said that the development of the Port Patimban there is good potential to build a highway that connects Port Patimban with Toll Road Cikopo palimanan (Cipali).

Distance to the highway that connects it to 38 kilometers and the necessary land acquisition for toll road with 60 meters row. As the acceleration of the central government can provide assistance, especially regarding land acquisition if the local government does not have the capacity Subang district financially.

Based on Presidential Regulation No. 47 Year 2016 concerning the Stipulation Port Patimban in Subang, West Java as a Project of National Strategic established on May 25, 2016, the central government has set Port Patimban will replace Port project Cilamaya in Karachi due to contact with oil pipelines and gas.

The government is targeting International Port project Patimban could already start in 2017 and finish in 2019.
