Bank Central of Asia(BCA) Works with JCB international to strengthen Credit Card Business

Bank central of asia(BCA) works with JCB international to strengtehn credit card business. The MOU was signed by director of BCA henry koenaifi and president director of JCB yuichiro kadowaki and Kocihiro wada. The partnership of both companies is to target the segment affluent of indonesia.  

Kadowaki stated that JCB has been partner of work of BCA for 30 years since 1983 in merchant acquiring case. JCB and BCA will offer the more interesting service to the consumer by adopting the system of service that is applied by JCB in japan. This will give addition value for BCA business, said kadowi.

The scope of cooperation between these companies is the release of credit card BCA-JCB and marketing the products to the customers.  Customers will enjoy the deal in the form of competitive exchange rate, program promotion in accordance with affluent segment. 

Up to the first semester of 2016, BCA manages 2.85 million credit cards with the transaction reaching Rp 26 trillion. It increased 6% comapred to the same period of last year. While the BCA outstanding credit card reached Rp 9.9 trillion in the first half grew 6% compared to the last year. The growth of transaction value and credit card out standing is offset by the non performing loans of 1.9%.
