The transportation service provider, GRAB provides the driverless cars for its customers in singapore. The company in his project launched to day september 23th, 2016 works in partner with start up nutonomy.
The launch of driveless cars was done following the previous similar project released by its rival UBER in USA.

Grab authority explained that so far it's the first time to launch driveless cars in singapore and aiming for 100 commercial taxies to operate in 2018. The partnership with nutonomy still focuses in singapore though it's open the opportunity to develop further.

The breakthrough of driveless car is started to fulfill the demand of customers to remote areas of which unreachable by drivers. Beside, it is a long prospect of business in the future.
