Indonesia to Export Organic Rice to Singapore

Indonesia through agriculture minister, amran sulaeman desires preparing riau island to export organic rice to the neighbor countries singapore and malaysia. The chosen of riau province to be the source of rice export is due to the potentiality of the province in term of land and transportation which 
takes almost only two hours through shipping. 

Amran said that the government plans to open 10 thousand organic rice field in whole riau islands. 
Government aims to fill the oppurtunity of rice export to singapore and malaysia that is so far occupied by vietnam and thailand.

During seeding rice premiere at district lingga riau, amran requested lingga regent to open rice plantation  5000 hectares supported by sophisticated equipment and post harvest tillage. The government donated 2 four wheel tractors, 5 two wheel tractors , water pumps and 70 kg rice seeds for 100 hectares plantation.

 Agriculture ministers emphasizes on the potential of indonesia organic rice which has better quality from other resources countries. Beside the plan to open organic rice plantation will give 10 times more beneficial than non organic rice.
