Non Skill Foreign Workers Increases the Unemployment in North Maluku

The serious problem of north maluku is manpower management according to that region authority. The increasing of amount of nickel factories has been the interesting magnet for foreign workers to come to this place. Bank of Indonesia monitors on the foreign workers who become the main factors of  unemployment in north maluku. BI describes that the majority of non skill foreign workers that are mostly non high school graduates causes the big problem of jobless scale in the region.

The north maluku authority then on their investigation of the case questions the policy of nickle factories which prioritize more on foreign workers worsenly the unskillful. The north maluku region then postulate on the importance of work ethic to resolve the increasing of unemployment rate.

Office worker agency of north maluku notes that there are 935 unemployed foreign workers. Since 2014, around 42% the foreign workers dominated by elementary graduates meanwhile only 14.8% are university graduates.
