Sea Toll Expedition Cargo Overloaded in East Indonesia, Jokowi's Main Program Leads to Success
Jokowi toll expedition that is ranting since his initial presidency hints for success. It is determined by overload request of cargo expedition in east indonesia area.
Indonesia National Shipping(PELNI) company admitted that the ships are always overloaded due to rapid increasing demand of sea cargo expedition from tanjung perak port to east indonesia area. There are three ships based in surabaya operated by PELNI which are stretch t-1 drom tanjung perak port to wanci-namlea-fakfak-kalimana -timika served by KM freedom. StretchT-2 from tanjung perak-kalabahi-moa-saumlaki-dobo-merauke and Stretcht-3 from tanjung perak-larantuka-lewoleba-rote-sabu-waingapu seved by KM caraka jaya niagaOOO-22.
These ships with capacity of 115-180 teus are always fulled carrying staple foods, groceries and building materials. However upon returning to tanjung priok the ships are loaded only 10-15% of its capacity.
PELNI claimed to fully support the program of sea toll of jokowi. One of its real discretion is to offer lower cost for goods compared to other companies. It is only the first month of sea toll program, that there is no much interest.
This hints nevertheless the success of jokow's sea toll. The president himself wants to provide ease of logistic distribution through out the country's region. This will influence the low price goods that has been a long time problem. Through the success of sea toll, the price between java island and far away place is not too much different.
