Tohir family and Tommy Soeharto Boost Realization of Tax Amnesty Close to Rp 1000 trillion

The participation of large taxpayer in third week of september 2016 is presumably the reason behind the increasing amount of reported asset.

There are three large taxpayers reported in third week tommy soeharto, eric thohir, and boy thohir. Though they did not state the amount of asset report, but the significant amount of total funds in third week much influenced by these three large taxpayers.

There is a rapid movement of inflow money from tax amnesty scheme in Third week of september 2016. General directorate of taxation of ministry of finance listed that total amount of reported reaching Rp 995 trillion. 

Total amount of Rp 995 trillion is supported by Rp 940 trillion which consists of Rp 694 trillion from declaration within the country and Rp 246 trillion from overseas' declaration. The repatriated fund however Rp 54.9 trillion meanwhile total ransom fund Rp 23.5 trillion from 87,896 affidavits.

Compared to previous week, there is significant increase from Rp 405 trillion reported assets. This means there is Rp 590 trillion the addition of asset reported in third week. Last week, the declared asset Rp 386.6 trillion, repatriated fund Rp 19 trillion and ransom fund Rp 9.3 trillion.
