The general directorate of taxation through their official site reported the total declared asset of tax amnesty to day reach Rp 1,103.02 trillion. According to the statistic data sum total amount was reported by 88 983 taxpayers.
According to tax amnesty statistic, out of the amount collected, Rp 705 trillion from in country declaration and Rp 253 trillion from offshore declaration. Meanwhile repatriation reaches Rp 55.1 trillion and ransom fund from tax payers who have submitted statement of asset(SPH) Rp 23.98 trillion.
Total revenues surged from the tax amnesty program according to the statistics, reached Rp 32.07 trillion per day. Based on the official website of the Directorate General of Taxes, Ministry of Finance, the reception was not only from the ransom but also of tax arrears and termination of preliminary evidence examination.
According to statistical data contained in pajak.go.id amnesty, receipt of tax arrears or Article 8, paragraph 3 c Forgiveness Tax Act or the Tax Amnesty has reached Rp 3.06 trillion. The acceptance of the commencement or termination of the examination of evidence Article 8, paragraph 3 d Tax Amnesty Law has reached Rp 263.11 billion.
Tax amnesty program has been going on for two months since it was first rolled out. Tax Amnesty Act was passed on July 19 last. Of the tax amnesty program, the government is targeting revenue of Rp 165 trillion in the Revised State Budget 2016.
Though there is a hint of continuous surged in funds from tax amnesty nonetheless it's still far below the high target of government to attain Rp 165 trillion that will be included in revision of state budget.

One of the great critics on tax amnesty is raised by PKS politician nur hidayat wahid who blamed the discrepancy of tax amnesty scheme which is not suitable with its target offshore taxpayers. According to nur wahid government should socialize massively the scheme abroad not only in the country since the target is offshore taxpayers.
Anohter task of government is to be vigilant with the politics trick of destinated country of wealthy indonesian stashing their money like singapore. Government has to taken it seriously not trust to much on positive response. This is quite evident that the total amount of indonesian asset in singapore for instance Rp 4000 trillion has not even half been repatriated. This is a scheme to fail the tax amnesty.
