The stated owned enterprise mandiri bank is committed to support the fish and marine sector's growth. From january to august 2016, mandiri bank has given loans through reachable, synergy, guideline progam initiated by FSA. Total of outstanding portofolio reached RP 2.47 trillion starting since above program began.
The mandiri bank endeavors to partake actively in developing the fisheries domestic sector thus supporting the independence of national economy, said corporate secretary of the bank rohan hafas.
Last year, the total loans for this sector reached Rp 1.14 trillion. The effort of mandiri bank to strengthen the program is particularly through the loan focus for sub sector processing that can provided added value to fishery commodity.
Further, rohan said fishery capture sub sector, the bank will prioritize the funding with target of fishermen.
