Minister of Trade to Force Legally Importing Cattle Breeders

Indonesian minister of trade, enggartiasto appreciates the special effort to import cattle breeders and being obliged legally in importers' clause.
This is to support domestic cattle population in long term.

Enggartiasto emphasized to endeavor of government expecting the cattle population will increase in years to come. To boost the program, the trade ministry is ready to give permit to koperasi through minister of koperasi for cattle importing, he added.


Previously the government has terminated the importing of beef both alive cattle and frozen beef and replace it with cattle breeders. The government will also oblige legally to include one cattle breeder for each 5 cows imported.
