The late report of insurance agency or LPS released that the amount of deposit in commercial banks per augustus 2016 reaches Rp 4,678 trillion. It increases 0.36% compared to the total deposit in month of july 2016.
The detail of number deposit accounts is claimed to increase around 1.18% of which by july around 183,998,727 to 186,168,335 per augustus 2016. meanwhile the accounts of foreign regency decreases down of which in july 1,077,479 nto 1,070,585 acccounts by the end of augustus 2016.
In term of nominal, the total amount of account saving is Rp 3,985 trillion by july to Rp 3,999 trillion by augustus 2016.While foreign currecny account is Rp 675 trillion in july to Rp 678 trillion in augustus.
Commercial banks of account saving are around 118 banks comprising of 106 banks conventional banks and 12 islamic banks. Conventional banks consists of 4 stated owned bank, 26 local banks and 66 national private banks and 10 foreign bank branches.
