World Bank Mentioned Indonesia as one of the Poverty Alleviation Motor of the World


Alluding to the report of poverty and welfare first edition of the world bank, indonesia is mentioned as one of the motor of poverty alleviation of the world. World bank sees the hint of potential of poverty increase in 2030 while the effort to diminish the poverty is driven by east asia and pacific region such as india, indonesia and china. Half of the most extreme poor citizen comes from sub saharan regions and one third the rest comes from south asia.

60 out of 83 countries in the report since 2008 the average income of the bottom 40% poors has increased their income though there was a crisis of monetary during that period.

jim yong kim appreciated the effort of countries to curb the poverty eventhough the circumstance of monetary crisis overwhelming. jim urged the countries to create job oppurtunity to diminish the poverty in the top bottom countries.
