BI expected the maximum limit of 2.25% will encourage the use of credit cards as means for non cash transaction. This in a line with country's framework to use non cash transaction one of which to diminish the act of corruption and ease of transaction for the people.
According to BI data, the credit card growth is only 2.85% per october 2016 which is 17.22 millions while in october 2015 it was 16.75 millions.
