JOKOWI SAID THAT METROMINI MAY HAVE CHANGED DRIVERS 100 TIMES YET THE BUSS IS STIIL THE SAME

Jokowi said  that metromini may havechanged drivers 100 times yet the bus is still the time. Mr President shared his experience about riding metromini around 1985. He used to ride the same metromini to his place of work for almost a month.

Jokowi was just stunned discovering the metromini he used long time ago is still the same operating.
Mr president underlined about the Bus Management that disregard the safety and comfortability of the passengers. The buses do not have standard of safety technically. It even does not have speedometer. " I doubt whether the breaks functioning well", jokowi added. 

Jokowi said  that metro mini may have changed  drives 100 times yet the buss is still the same highlighting the recent polemy of the decision of Jakarta Governor AHOK who banned metro mini to operate. Implicitly, Mr president agrees to restore the management of Metro Mini Bus which are deliberatedly not feasible to operate. 

Based on the fact and traffic rates of accident in metropolitan, metro mini has involved in numerous accident which are mostly caused by technical mishap, the standard of safety of the buss that are not fulfilled. 

The statement of Mr president basically a call for entire transformation of transportation. It all begins from Jakarta. The unruled management of transportation especially that are privately owned has caused juxtaposed problem in the city like the high rate of accidents and also the congested traffic inside the city.
