TOP INDONESIANS BAD HABITS YOU CAN FIND ALONG THE ROAD jpgIndonesians bad habits you can find along the road in jakarta might distract your first sight like wise your first impression about the city. These are the things that are rarely found in other part of the world, the paradox worth to  attribute to such a metropolitan city.

The first is the sight of beggars along the traffic light

If you ever have to chance to mingle around the city, especially if you go by bike, you will encounter many beggars approaching. The beggars vary from the small children, the old guy, the lame, the physical disorders, the cripple holding with them a small box. They will come to you or even knock the door of the stopped car begging in such a merciful face.

The second fact is the bystander smokers

Indonesia is famously known as the country with such high user of cigarretes. Almost all the people from the range of young age up to the old guys are addicted smokers. Thus it's not a novel scenery to see the people along the road are enjoying smoking.
Worsely, those smokers do not have a good habit to care about the cleanliness. After finishing the stick of cigarretes, they easly throw it every where. Thus it's impossible not to find the stick of cigarretes every where. Even some of passenger inside small mini bus called angkot still uncarely smoking without respect to the other passengers. Not to mention of the drivers of the angkot its self, it's ironically to find them that are not fond of smoking while driving.

The third fact is disobedience to traffic rules

Metropolitan jakarta is one of the city with a heavy traffic. The quantity private transportation like private car or motorcycle is the main causes for this. In every light traffic, almost impossible not to see the violation of the traffic rules.

The right led traffic sign which is supposed be the signal of stopping before the stop line yet the sight we see is the cars, or bikes recklessly pass the line moving toward the center of juncti

on or intersection. Worsely, even some cars or bikes carelessly pass through disregarding the other cars , bikes coming from other directions. It's surely so dangerous for the safety of road users.

the fourth, The public transportation especially minibus called "angkot" stop not in pointed bus stops

It's really an alarm for the road users to be careful to follow behind those minibus called angkot. Because many times, they stop everywhere without even giving the signs. Sometimes, unavoidable accident  may happen especially if you are behind them. The drivers seem to disregard the safety of other when they hunt for the passengers by the side of the road.

The fifth is the unruled overtaking

According to the traffic rule of indonesia, the drivers are supposed to take left side of the road in driving. Meanwhile in order to overtake, they should take the right side.. Yet ironacally, you discover the wrong overtake through left side.Especially, during the heavy traffic, almost all the bikes take left side of the road to overtake. It's so risky of accident.

The sixth is throwing the trashes everywhere
Another weird fact you can find along the road is observing the bad habit of people. They easily throw thrashes on the road like tissues, plastics, crump of foods having no guilty of itat all. Meanwhile the trash cans prepared a long rest area are filled only by thrashes of the encharged cleaning service that are thrown not in the right place by passing by people.

The seventh is street children called " anak punk"

Anak punk is another of mentality denigration. These are homeless children, broken home children who're assumed to be the street occupiers. They have the unique style wearing big earings and unique uniforms and unique punk style of hair cut.
Every day, they enter inside minibus like metro mini singing and begging the cents from paseengers. They call themselves as street musicians, holding the small guitar or just clapping their hand and singing in an amusing voice. Sometimes, passengers are not so comfortable with their attitude that are many times unpolitely begging for the cents.
