SOEKARNO'S FIRST WIFE OETARI WAS NEVER BEEN TOUCHED

Soekarno's first wife named siti oeatari was known to never been touched by this first indonesian president. 

According to the book entitled istri istri soekarno ( soekarno's wives) written by reny nuryanti, among the wives of this first indonesian president, oetari was the first. Not only that, soekarno never touched her so she remained 

pure till her death. 

This was just the consideration of soekarno because of the age of oeatri which was still too young thus he considered her more as his younger sister rather than the partner of life. 

Siti oetari was the daughter of Omar said tjokroaminoto, the prominent figure at that time who was also leader of sarekat islam( islamic organization) and the guru for soekarno. Soekarno learned much about the politics from 

tjokrominoto who was father in law for him. The guru himself have educated the porminent figures in netherland 

preoccupation era just like kartosuwiryo ( prominent muslim organization figure ), alimin,muso and semaoen of whom three of them were founders of Indonesia communist party. 

Soekarno's charming capable to mesmerize many women, moreover as the prominent figure and first indonesia president, he was able to show attraction to the opposite sex. 

That's basically reason that soekarno had many wives among whom oetari was the first before his inaugaration as the first leader of the country. 

The wedding of oetari and soekarno was held in Tjokrominoto's house. There was a unique view of the wedding in which soekarno wore his familiar cloak and rejected to use wedding wearings which ended in a little debate between him and the presider. 

Soekarno assumed his marriage to oetari was aged marriage. In his authobiography entitled penyambung lidah rakyat, he declared to never touch his first wife physically. It doesn't mean he didn't love her. In fact, when oetari was 

sick, soekarno shew tender care to the wife.
