Efficiency of Budget, Sri Mulyani aims not to Cut off Spending PriorityPrograms

Efficiency of Budget, Sri Mulyani aims not to Cut off Spending PriorityProgramsThe government through the minister of finance, sri mulyani finally realized to be realistic with the deficit of budget 2016. The deficit of budget of which the government has to cover from loans around Rp 365.7  trillion has been realized well by sri mulyani as over ambition of government to boost the infrastructure projects.

In her assembly with the senate to day, wednesday, august 24th, 2016, sri mulyani underlined the efficiency of budget through the reduction of certain projects that are basically less significant. Nonetheless Sri said the budget cuts made by the government will not bother spending priorities, namely poverty eradication, reduction of disparities, and increase employment. "But, in some ministries, the budget will be managed in a multiyear," she said.
Furthermore, she explained that the participation of capital state for stated owned company (BUMN) won't be annihilated though the government will make the efficiency of Rp 133.8 trillion.

According to finance minister, the participation of state's capital for BUMN is must be suitable with its main agenda of business. She agreed with the right use of state's capital as criticized by the senate. The stakeholder will work on together to monitor the progress of BUMN platform and work aiming for healthy and stability of BUMN itself.

Take into note,President jokowi is on his campaign to bring massive infrastructure like toll road of transpapua, trans java, trans sumatera and the rail way project of trans celebes which is basically the first time in the history. However the inequilibrium of total revenue and expenditure forcing to seek for loans from partner countries like china and usa. Many saw this as illogical ambition of jokowi. Jokowi's strategy to look for loan mending the deficit was seen not a wise policy by former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. SBY prefered that government should be thrifty in using budget and not forcing the massive project of infrastructure in the midst of economy slowdown.

It seems that the discretion of Sri Mulyani who blatantly claimed that government is too ambitious in arranging national budget has ended with the realistic cut off Rp 365.7 trillion for the efficiency.
