Governor of Riau, nurdin basirun postulates that natuna potentiality in sector of tourism and marine are worth to be developed. It is quite strategic in term of marine in which natuna is located in international trade route close to south china sea. It also has the mineral resources which can be explored like raw oil and gas.
Nurdin claimed that if the government is serious to develop natuna, it can beat the potentiality of hawai as one of the world travel destination. Recently, the fund lies as the problem to build sophisticated infrastructure there. The Credit program of banks is still high meanwhile neighbor countries like singapore offers low credit.
Beside the tourism sector, defense sector can be massively built in natuna. The local government expects much the support of fund and credit to develop natuna especially in tourism sector thus capable to equate popularity of hawai, the travel destination in south pacific.
