Sri Mulyani was Summoned by the Senate Regarding Budget Streamlining

The senate summoned finance minister sri mulyani  regarding the under way budget streamlining.After Jokowi's Rp 68.6 trillion budget cut off, the mass response criticizing on the seemingly non realistic budget of govermnet ends up like daylight thunder for regional heads.

In front of the senate, sri mulyani stated the the decision of budget streamline was taken through prudent and careful consideration of government not out of unwillingness to find for alternate.
" I took this responsibility well and not to put at risk the credibility of parliament, government and myself to manage the state budget", she said responding to budget agency of senate.

However, government is in great effort to boost the national revenue though it's hard since it already in the month of august. Sri mulyani said the she is monitoring on the tax directorate to reach the target of tax revenue.   finance minister tried anything possible to excalate revenue even if to learn from the more progress countries.

Sri mulyani admitted that government is too ambitous in 2016 budget. In 2017, she said the budget should be more realistically planned. She called for the extracaful makro assumption on state budget 2017. She is confident that the economy growht will be much better 5.3% in 2017 though its lower from target 5.2-5.6%. Meanwhile bank of indonesia governor, agus martowardojo described that BI will adjust with makro assumption of state budget. BI targets the growth of economy 5.1-5.5% in 2017. The good investment and household economy becomes the main factor to excalate the economy growth. The BI thus expects the government to push through the investment sector.
