 Allegedly Using Expired Materials, Pizza hut: Our Sale is not Affected

Stephen mc cartney answered upon the inverview with cnn that it is not true if his company did the shelf life, prolong the expiration of materials thus gaining Rp 500 million profit. Stephen said that though the company aims for profit, they still are after the safety and quality of products and care to the consumers.  Stephen denied the issue affirming that all pt sarimelati suppliers have the well qualified food maintenance. Pt sari melati also regualry visit its supplier to ensure the quality of materials for their products.

General manager of pizza hut delivery (PHD) Andrias chandra claimed that the issue has no significant impact toward whole sales of PHD. The sale is not increasing likewise not downsizing. It remain static though the issue of expired materials is raised publicly.

"So far it is still normal, not boom (rising) and also did not fall, we thank all the loyal customers we, who believe that the pizza hut always use materials that nice, high quality, safe and feasible in consumption," said Andrias in raw material storage warehouse Pizza Hut Tip Ananda Cold Storage PT Bekasi, on Tuesday (09/06/2016) as written by kompas.com

Regarding the issue of expired materials, pt sarimelati has initiated to coordinate with Food and Drug Supervisory Agency(BPOM) to clarify the case. Andrias emphasized that it has been 32 years the company operating. The company profoundly express gratitude to loyal customers and in effort to fix the case. However, andrias is much confident that the company never intends to use such expired materials as issued.
