Indonesia to Boost Agro Sector as Main Holder of Non Oil and Gas sector

Indonesia looks forward to boost agro sector. Agro sector like palm oil, coffee, rubber, coconut, and tropical fruits. Government emphasizes the down stream program in agro sector through more various productions of agro sector and higher economic value for domestic and international use.

The Head of Research and Development (ARDI)  of industry ministry haris munandar stresses that the synchronization and coordination of related institution both local and international. Industry ministry targets the progress of agro sector to reach 7.7% higher than last year 7.5%. The more productive of agro sector will create more job vacancy opportunity and equitable industrial development.

In order to achieve the set targets, the main strategy that we need to do, among others, include four approaches or categories," said Haris.
