Food and beverage association of indonesia ( GAPMMI) objects rejection regarding the regulation. GAPMMI considers the prohibition of trucks and containers during idul adha holiday will cause the disruption of logistic distribution and loss to the businessman related.
Though the government has made exemption for import and export primordial goods, the prohibition of logistic carriers truck and containers apparantly in contradictory with the exemption. The chairman of GAPMMI adhu lukman explained that the release of regulation will affect the distribution of essential goods. For instance the need of drinking water available only for 8 hours in the field meanwhile the carriers truck and containers are not allowed to operate during idul adha holiday.
Chamber of commerce and trade indonesia (KADIN) also objects the defer toward the regulation of transport management during idul adha. KADIN considers the regulation is all of a sudden without the involvement of businessmen related. This surely cause the loss to the logistic business.
Logistic association of indonesia chairman zaldy ilham masita claimed that the loss of logistic company due to the prohibition is around Rp 100 million. There is no socialization before the regulation was released thus the logistic companies can not anticipate.
