PT Yangtze Optical Fiber Indonesia (YOFI) optical fiber manufacturer opens the largest optical fiber in karawang, west java. The factory which is a joint venture between YOFI and PT monas permata persada is inaugurated to day thur day, 8th, 2016.
The optical fiber factory invests $ 30 million which a composition of 70% of YOFI and 30% of pt Monas Permata persada. The president director of YOFI Chen Hui Xiong explained that the factory will comply with the maximum need of optical fiber communication for the indonesian and even asean customers.
Chen Hui said that the factory is capable to produce 3 million kilometers of optical fiber per year.
The president director of PT monas permata persada reaffirmed that this is the first biggest optical fiber manufacturer in the country and asean. It is expected the factory will comply the need and demand especially from domestic. It is in aline with the increasing use of fiber optic telecomunication.
Both companies expect on the role of goverment to push the progress of optical fiber factory by means of national standard (SNI) given. This will help the rapid sale of product.
