Inflow Investment in Second Quarter 2016 Reaches $8.01 billion
In the second quarter of 2016, total foreign investment reached $8.01 billion. It is significantly increasing 49.11 percent compares to the same period of 2015, said the general director of security and access development industry (KPAII) Harjanto on monday,sept 5th,2016.

Harjanto highlights the role of china in rising the inflow of business sector in indonesia. In the second quarter china committed to 271 investment projects with total value of 925 million dollars which engage in steel sector, machinery, electronics, food , cement and strategic industries.
The enthusiasm of chinese investors clearly assures the government conviction that china is predicted to be the biggest foreign investor.

The goverment, through president jokowi has initiated the various easiness to facilitate chinese investors such as the 3 hours permit license, ease direct investment construction, green line service and more opened investment regulation through improved negative investment list facilitating the inflow. Harjanto affirms the chinese investors will brings positive effect to increase the competitiveness of domestic industry.

There are some china's ongoing investment in indonesia sucha as pT sulawesi mning investment which engagees in nickel mining capable to produce 300000 tons per year with investment value 636 million dollars located in morowali industrial park, central celebes.
Meanwhile another one is PT virtue dragon nickel industry engages in ferronickel processing in konowe , southeast celebes with total investment 5 billion USA dollars and capacity of 600000 tons per year.

There is also anhui conch cement company with total investment 5.7 billion USA dollars with capacity of 20 million tons per year. Anhui  will build five integrated plants among which one plant located in south borneo, banten, north celebes, south celebes and west papua.
