Jokowi's Visitation to China: Cooperating with Alibaba and Tropical Fruits Export Negotiation

Jokowi's visitation to china was welcomed by that bamboo curtain country's president Xi Jinping. The meeting of these 2 presidents in west lake guest house agreed to the convenience for indonesia to export tropical fruits to china. This is quite historical, since the attempt of indonesia through businessmen to export tropical fruits has been tampered by the difficult of legal requirements of China's standard. Xi Jinping finally limbered the requirements for indonesia to start market segment of tropical fruits in his country. 

Foreign minister, retno marsudi stated that the main agenda of these two leaders of country is to narrow down the gap deficit of export -import between two countries. One of agreement is xi jinping promised to provide easiness for tropical fruits export, retno said.

President jokowi also visited the headquarter of largest e-commerce business of china alibaba in district yu hang, hangzhou city. The president of alibaba group, jack ma welcomed warmly the visitation of jokowi. Jokowi intended to learn about ecommerce in order to develop such sector business in the country. Minister of communication and information, rudiantara said that both president jokowi and jack ma has same perception regarding the micro business. 

Indeed, it's not the first time that indonesia engages in partnership with alibaba group. The ex trade minister, thomas lembong has started the marketing of indonesian produts through taobao mall owned by alibaba group. Rudiantara added that indonesian product category of fast moving consumer goods like kapal api coffee and indomie noodle already marketed by alibaba. In the future, the country continues to increase the export through work partnership alibaba group.
