PT global banten development(BGD) and australian investor plans to build industrial zone and ports in that province. They also aim to build gas power plant with capacity of 3x450 megawatt by total of estimate investment $1.3 billion or RP 16.9 trillion.
This industrial zone will comprise of resource based manufacturing, food and beverage industries and logistic warehouses.
According to BGD president director sudibyo, the industrial zone will be build in 770 hectare un the end of cisadane river, district pakuhaji tangerang, banten province. This is a good hint for investment in that province.
Head of investment coordinating board of banten babar monoarfa said that the surged in investment will be lucrative to boost the development the industrial zone in that province. They australian investor under the coordinating of australia indonesia business council is expected to perform for realization of business not merely a note of agreement with BGD, region owned enterprise.
So far, australia has started investment reaching $2 billion and contribute 1.4% of total foreign investment in indonesia. This makes australia in the top 12th of foreign investor in the list in the state. Austrlia engages in business of mining sector around 42% and the rest chemical and pharmaceuticals around 39%.
