President jokowi formed a task force for the implementation of tax amnesty scheme through the presidential decree number 32 2016. The finance minister sri mulyani was appointed as chairman of the group while the ken diwjugiastiadi was appointed as technical and administrative implementation of tax amnesty.
There are four teams of task force namely steering committee, technical field team, repatriation of domestic fund and investment team as well as legal tewam. Sri mulyani was ordered by president to give guidance and direction in the framework of coordinationamong the units and agencies related to technical implementation of tax amnesty fund placement. Meanwhile chairman of general directorate of taxation is assigned to engage all administration and technical implementation of tax amnesty placement.
Aside from finance ministry, task force team consists of other ministry and agencies. All the member of teams have to maintain confidentiality of taxpayers participating and not to leak it on account of certain purpose. On the other hand, they have to manage the right placement of fund collected to vital and lucrative sectors of business unit and investments.
As for the information, tax amnesty has shown its incredible achievement in its first period ended in last 30th september. There are around Rp 137 trillion of repatriated fund collected out of target Rp 1000 and Rp 3500 declared assets out of target Rp 4000 trillion. This program will end in march 2017 likewise the taskforce team which was signed last october 4th,2016 by president jokowi.
