Sri mulyani, susi pudjiastuti and indonesian police officer thwarted the attempt of lobster smugglong from indonesia to destinated countries singapore and veitnmam. There are around 404385 lobster about to be smuggled which are worth of Rp 33.15 billion.
Maritime and fisheries affair minister, susi pudjiastuti claimed that the success is the cooperation between customs directorate accompanies by the police conducting in some critical points spread over the country. Repression against the syndicate is held in batam, soekarno hatta airport, fish auction and also tanjung priok port.
Susi underlined the lobster smuggling is disadvantageous for the fishermen who threatens to loose the lobster seed after being harvested and smuggled. Susi appreciates the cooperation with the other ministries, agencies and police especially it is the second time to thwart the illegal smuggling.
