The growth of economy of third quarter of 2016 is 5.02% lower than the second quarter which was 5.18%. Though it is lower, government through finance minister claimed this to be better than the other developing countries of the world. Sri mulyani said indonesia economy is much more healthy than other emerging countries such as turkey, brazil, and south africa which indicated their sluggish growth even negative trend.
It is only india and indonesia which maintains its economy at rate 5%.
Sri mulyani stressed that indonesia has the deficit budget capable to be maintained below 3% of gross domestic product, while in structural reformation. based on the report of world bank about ease of doing business is increasing compared to previous period. Even indonesia is recognized as the best reformer which hints the confidence of better growth in the next periods.
Chamber of commerce and trade(KADIN) also considered the good indication of state's economy. The vice president of kadin shinta widjaja kamdani stated that government will continue to work on better growth of economy through reparation on necessary sectors.
In fact, even the next year the rate of growth will not more than 5.3% due to global trending of economy slow down.
