PT Sawit sumbermas sarana tbk(SSMS) to open two palms oils mills in 2017 worth Rp 250 billion. After the meeting of general shareholders on wednesday december 13th, 2016 Director of SSMS, vallauthan subraminam said the investment will be prioritized from internal fund. Though subraminam did not explicitly elaborate the the detail of the plan, he also cited another project to run worth of Rp 350 billion.
SSMS targets to produce 1.2 million tons of palm oil from total of expected 150000 hectares lands. From such quote of production it is estimated the profit will increse 48% if the price is high trend.
SSMS plans to expand its business also through acquisition in 5 years term to come.
Majority of palm oli of SSMS is still used for domestic needs meanwhile 30% is aimed for export.
