Based on the report of central bureau of statistic, the export value increased 15.57% or equivalent to $13.77 billion in december 2016.
Such amount increased 15.57% compared to the same period of 2015 and slightly increased 1.99% compared to period of november 2016.
The significant increased is supported dominantly by non gas and oil sector around 1.13% or worth of $12.4 billion per december. In term of quantity, it is smaller than 2015 but it has higher value than the same period of 2015.
The head of central bureuu of statistic suhariyanto claimed also that gas and oil sector increased 11.66% from $1.1 billion to $ 1.23 billion with the big contribution of raw oil export around 10.67% to $ 443.9 million from $401.1million of period november 2016.
Likewise for the export of oil product processing industry, rose 30.69 percent to US $ 91.4 million compared to November 2016 amounted to US $ 69.9 million (MoM). Gas exports also rose 10.18 percent to US $ 696.3 million compared to November 2016 (MoM), which amounted to US $ 632 million.
The volume of oil and gas exports in December 2016 for crude oil rose 16.21 percent and oil products rose 0.22 percent. Likewise for gas, up 6.83 percent.
Indonesia's crude oil price rose from US $ 43.25 per barrel in November 2016 to US $ 51.09 per barrel in December 2016.
