This incumbent jakarta governor in his program of creating better management of transportation system of jakarta has previously involved in friction with metromini corp because of metromini unresilience not to merge with transjakarta corp, government's local enterprise.
It ended with the baulk of metromini's drivers responding to governor's ban for metromini to operate.
Lately, this phenomenal governor resounds again the call for metromini to merge into tranjakarta corp. He explicated the plan of Jakarta to buy large busses in order to fulfill the need of sufficient transportation mode in the metropolitan city. According to Ahok, the busses that are planned to be provided will be 9 to 10 meters in length. They will be available in next 4 to 5 months.
