Foreign Investment in Banten Province Skyrockets Following Tax Amnesty

Foreign investment in Banten skyrockets in the second quarter of 2016 according to the data  of the coordinating board and integrated services (BKPMT).  The realization of foreign direct investment(FDI) in south tangerang for instance increased to $64.5 billion more than the same period last year which was only $180.000 for year on year/yoi. 

Furthermore, the sum of projects in banten increases to 80 projects more than last year which was only 20 projects. Most of them are foreign investment and project from countries like singapore, england, south korea and china.

The favourite investment sectors in banten province according BKPMT are property, services and trade. These are the main choice investors and well profit promising. Meanwhile local investors haven't increased mostly caused by the non available alternative of investment of leading sectors due to narrow area. Moreover, the domestic investment in the second quarter is still basically the continuation of first quarter budget.

Based on data from the Investment Coordinating Board and Integrated Services (BKPMT) Banten, the realization of investment in the province reached Rp11,1 trillion in the second quarter / 2016. In terms of the distribution of investment, Kota Cilegon, Serang regency and Tangerang regency still be excellent.

Special quarter II / 2016, Cilegon still be the first choice of foreign investors in Banten, with a value of US $ 236.8 million, followed by the Serang District US $ 229.5 million, and the district of Tangerang US $ 146.5 million.
