Tax amnesty Haunts for Taxpayers' Asset Abroad

Tax amnesty has been the focus of government. Since the unconvincing national revenue, government looks for alternative to hasten the tax amnesty. 

To anticipate the phoia of taxpayer, the government through economy coordinating minister, Darmin nasution elaborated the main focus of tax amnesty toward the taxpayers who store their asset abroad. Darmin affirmed that tax amnesty is not to target the obedient taxpayers or barely small business. Coordinating economy minister has to clarify since there is the issue that tax amnesty chases after the taxpayers who have been obedient to fulfill the tax their tax obligations.

Darmin futher said that the directorate of tax continues to promote and socialize the tax amnesty especially ahead of the end of expiration date of the lowest redemption rate. 

Deputy Finance Minister Mardiasmo also confirmed that it continued to socialize as well as the tax amnesty provides technical understanding through the issuance of new derivative regulations to accommodate the interests of the taxpayer.

The objective of tax amnesty program is for all taxpayers in Indonesia, ranging from businessmen abroad, until there are pensioners and civil servants with a single tax cuts.
