Data of securities rating of indonesia(Perfindo) released the domination of financial institution of corporate bonds wirth of Rp 82.42 trillion or 79.12% of the total new issuance Rp 104.18 trillion. While the issuance of real sectors is still low until november 2016.
For the period until november 2016, non financial institution or real sectors issued Rp 21.75 trillion only or nearly 20.88% of total new issuance. While from financial sectors banks and finance companies dominate the majority of bond issuance.
President director of Perfindo salyadi saputra stated the low of real sector issuance due to the fact that this sectors prefer to seek loans from banks or financing institutions. However this yyear, bond issuesnace listed the highest record or outstanding in 9 years. The total of new bonds is Rp 104.18 trillion while the outstanding is Rp 313.53 trillion, nevertheless compared to other countries, the bond penetration is still low. Obligation ratio toward bank credit is 7.5% lower than malaysia 47.5%, thailand 14.2% and pHilippines 18.4%.
